SAHARA SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION, Inc. (aka NomadHope.org)
Over two years ago, the Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach was approached by Nomad Hope to partner on a clean water, solar and sanitation project in rural Mali to benefit 6 schools. The Rotary Club recognized the quality of the proposal and signed on to partner. To date, over $60,000 has been raised to provide for 2 of the 6 schools, and grants are in progress to provide more resources for the remaining schools. The Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach is amazed and thrilled with the professionalism and follow-through of Nomad Hope and it's executive leadership.

continue with the excellent processes in place for managing projects.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
meeting the school staff and students in the villages.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated, professional, and experienced in engineering projects all over the world.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a significant difference in rural schools throughout the world, providing lighting, water & santitation solutions for many, many rural schools existing without these basic facilities!
Ways to make it better...
They had more funding for part-time staff to run the growing administrative aspects of the organization.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
managing growth effectively.
One thing I'd also say is that...
the volunteers with Sahara Solutions Foundation are passionate and dedicated, this truly is a professional organization with fabulous, sustainable projects.
