SAAC is an amazing organization! As a volunteer with Spay Day 2011, I was tremendously impressed with how organized and well thought out the process was. The computer program designed for scheduling appointments was excellent. I have used similar programs for business that literally cost millions to design and maintain - and they pale in comparison to the SAAC program which was created by several volunteers.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The SAAC email list is an invaluable tool for people that do animal rescue in this area - MANY pets and people have been rescued, educated, assisted and given needed support because of it.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give them more funding!

This group is really dedicated and on-the-ball. The board members are extremely helpful in fundraising efforts, they all "pick up a shovel" at the last minute when needed and have extensive expertise about animal welfare resources in the community. I love that ALL the profits go directly to the animals and that this is a tight-knit, efficient and highly dedicated team. It is really rewarding to work with them and I hope we can keep the money coming to help those who can't help themselves!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

terms of seeing the large numbers of our local animals who receive low-cost spay/neuter services and having the pleasure of working with smart, dedicated and innovative people dedicating their time and skills to helping our local animals.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would work on obtaining a volunteer dedicated solely to fundraising efforts.
