This is an amazing facility. The Love and Compassion all the volunteers and the Craigs provide for these animals is amazing. They are free to live out their lives surrounded by love, caring, and regaining of their dignity . Their is a special place in heaven for the people that take care of these wonderful "critters".

We visit on a regular basis and it makes my heart smile to see how these once mis treated animals are so happy now and well cared for.

I am constantly amazed at the work being completed by all of the dedicated staff members and volunteers at the Wild Animal Sanctuary. Ever since I found this place I talk about it to anyone who will listen and most of them find the time to make a visit to the Sanctuary and then, like me, become champions as well. I am saddened every time I read an update and find that there is yet another animal they've needed to help. Thanks to the TWS, animals are living out the remainder of their life happy, content, well fed, well taken care of and best of all, have allowed me to share in their experience. I wished there wasn't a need for a place like this, but until the captive animal crisis is abolished, kudos to the staff and volunteers! Next up on my list is to find time to volunteer.

Most of these animals are not native to Colorado. They have allowed me to see a glimps into these wild animals that I would not have had the chance to see.

We were just visitors from Florida. Our daughter was with us on this trip and she had suggested we stop at the Sanctuary. We are great lovers of Bears and Wolves in particular. We were coming back from Montana were we visited another Sanctuary. It was magnificant but Colorado took our breath away. The animals are truly free, the way God meant them to be.

Fantastic! It was incredible to see so many big cats and bears (grizzly/brown and black)in one place. The staff in the gift shop were very nice and enthusiastic about their work. Just hope I can go again when I get the chance to visit in Colorado (I live in Indiana). I always look forward to their newsletter and to read about new rescues and

We have visited this site with our two grandsons. It is a place for teaching the next generation about wildlife, conservation, and the value of volunteering.
