In October, Riverlife provided a tour of the Point State Park project to a group of visitors to Pittsburgh for the International City Management Association Conference that I was charged with showing around town. The Riverlife team provided a great historical review of The Point, explained what the park means us in the present day,and laid out a vision of the park's future that was truly exciting. Our guests related to me how impressed they were with not only our geographic beauty, but our civic efforts to capitalize on our greatest asset--the Rivers. Thanks Riverlife--you did us proud!

In the past several years my wife and I have ridden all of the riverfront bike trails in the area - they are simply great. Also, I have begun to row, and there is nothing better than to see the downtown wake-up as the sun rises over the Allegheny. Commendations to all who have worked so effectively and with great vision to reclaim these wonderful regional assets. Thanks.

I love the idea of creating a great, contiguous park in downtown Pittsburgh. I would love to see Pittsburgh among the greenest cities in the world, in every sense of the word "green" and this organization is moving the city towards that.
The Great!

Riverlife is a nonprofit that seems to be run like a for-profit business. After my meeting with Jeremy, I knew that he is serious about looking at all positives and negatives of a situation dealing with the future of the organization.
