R2T directly benefits the community of Kabira by providing free empowerment, skills training and income generating classes based on the needs outlined by the community members themselves. R2T also directly supports the Neemaland Kings & Queens Center, a children's home for orphaned, abandoned, and at risk children. R2T provides basic needs by funding; rent, food, water, clothing, shoes, medical needs, other supplies, and more.

Found on Kabiria Road in Waithaka Location, Kabiria consists of small pockets of “parkings” on private land. The shanties are on small plots of land owned by individuals, who are unable to construct adequate housing. Adjoining the shanties are high-rise buildings and permanent bungalows.
Current Programs Include: Personal Empowerment, Sports and Life Skills, Basic and Intermediate English, Jewelry and Handbag Design, and Sandal Making classes, and Business Workshops.

When I first heard about Right 2 Thrive and all the great things Janet Patry, the founder, had accomplished I was inspired and motivated. I wanted to do more. I started attending events and donating for this great cause and eventually became a Board Member. It's that inspiring! Right 2 Thrive is doing great things and helping shape the community is involved in. In time I can see this organization helping more communities in Kenya and having a bigger reach. Help us continue the great work Janet started!
