I have COPD and have found Lisa's website comforting when I am not feeling well. It is a wonderful welcoming sie for those suffering from chronic illness and chronic pain.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

strength, calmness in times of feeling defeated.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do nothing. It is well thought out and easy to read.

Hi I would like everyone to know just how wonderful Rest Ministries is. I look forward to the daily devotional everyday. When you suffer with chronic pain & illness, its nice to know someone understands & is going thru the same thing as you. All of the devotionals are wonderful gifts from God. Its awesome how Rest Ministries is founded by someone who knows the Lord as their personal savior. Rest Ministries is one of the best things that has happened to me lately. thank you for providing an outlet for people who are struggling with their conditions, you are giving us hope & a way to the Lord.

Rest Ministries has given a voice to the millions of people with Invisible Diseases. Having an Invisible Disease can make life extremely difficult but most of all it makes you feel like you are the only one with your disease. I have found that I am not alone and meaningful help is freely given.

People on my website responded favorably to knowing about Invisible Disease Awareness Week. I think they also felt like they were not fighting their diseases alone.

I cannot think of anything I would change. New ground is being forged and I think it will continue to grow and evolve as it should.

In 2000, I injured my back after numerous surgeries, I was left in chronic pain. Rest Ministries was a breath of fresh air! To find resources, encouragement, support and ideas from people who experience pain and illness–yet thrive, was a wonderful gift! Now I recommend this site to anyone who has pain or an illness and their friends and caregivers. Each one has found materials to help their specific situation. Rest Ministries provides hope! Rest Ministries is a good source of information presented with great compassion.

I discovered Rest Ministries about 8 years ago. it became a big source of support and information in my physical battles with Fibromyalgia, IBS, Depression and Anxiety. Lisa Copen has a heart of service to those within her organization. It provides a link to a world most of us would have no access to - the world of people just like us trying to live day to day. The research provided is vital to all of it's members as we learn to live and work with our various Invisible Illness. I have recommended Lisa Copen and Rest Ministries to many friends who need the support and information provided there.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Gaining support and learning more about my illnesses and how to live and treat them daily.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make it more visible to more people
