This facility serves in excess of 100 homeless men and wommen on a daily basis with food basics, hot showers, essential clothing. Most importantly they provide main-streaming by acquiring birth certificates, establishing State ID cards, training to obtaed high school equivalency certificates and finally job training. This facility is run super efficientlty with the guests heavily involved in administration of their own programs. The key person however is Sister MacCannon BRown.

I have seen dosens of street residents turn there lives around and mainstream again. They are currently building a medical clinic next to day shelter.

Propertly fund them to execute the vision in full.

Complete basic shelter with showers Store donated underwera, socks and shoes Complete medical clinic which is staffed by volunteer MD's.

More room to pack 75 to 100 freezing wet men who are huddled into small warming area on folding chairs.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
They do not accept public government monies. The bad economy has created more persons in need and less donations.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The dedication and effort by the one paid administrator, Sister McCannon Brown, is incrediable inspiring. She is tireless.
