It is a great joy for me to write this review acknowledging the hard work and effort of Relief, Inc. in giving House of Hope Orphanage in Ganta City, Nimba County-Liberia the opportunity to a Memorandum of Understanding between the orphanage and Relief, Inc.

We are grateful to God for the opportunity Relief, Inc. is giving the Orphans at House of Hope Orphanage in Ganta City, Nimba County, Liberia., "Creating Life Through Art" We appreciate the drawing items sent recently to our orphans. It is helping the kids move from one level to become Aspiring Artistic.
Thanks for the courage given me in getting the kids birth certificates prepared on time for the opening of the orphans trust funds in our orphanage Home.

The House of Hope Orphanage family want to say “Thank you ya” and Let God continue to bless and favor Relief Inc. so as to enable other less fortunate children be blessed like ours.

My name is Matu Suah. I live in Liberia, West Africa. I am grateful to Relief, Inc. for being there for my children education through the KIS-Kids in School program. As a mother, I could not imagine how to generate money to settle their tuitions.
I want to say a big thank you to Relief, Inc. for the assistance in keeping my kids in school.
I pray that such a help will be given to other less fortunate children like mine. May God bless Relief, Inc.’s family all over the world.

Relief, Inc. Heal!

I want to first of all, give thanks to the almighty God for sparing my life and that of my family, form the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Liberia.

This was an in determinant and a painful situation that forced you to neglect your love one.

Special thanks to Relief Inc for affording my son the opportunity in going back to school, that is, by paying his school fees, I notice that Relief Inc is always at my door step giving me a helping hand where there seem to be no way.

After the 2003 – 2004 crisis in our country, Liberia, which cause us to lose our home and everything that we had.
I Started to sell porter (Clay) to sustain my family, we could not afford a meal a day just imagine that!

Do you know what it mean where your child cry for milk, you give him sugar water to drink, because you cannot afford to buy milk for him.

I kept myself hungry when people give me food, jut for my child to have something to eat, I felt that there were no hope in life.

Each night when I go to bed, I pray not to see the break of day, because I don’t want to see my child suffering, so many thing happened until 2006 - 2007 I got in contact with Relief Inc. God first, through the help of my son father Mr. Aloysius Barr, my living condition change, Relief Inc helped us with some Relief Item and started to pay my son school fees, that was when I regain my pride and dignity and also I regain my hope, Relief Inc really heal.

Where you are, you can also be a blessing to someone and God will reward you. give a helping hand to a child who cannot afford a meal a day, a child who does not have home, a child who wants to learn but no financial backing, an Orphan who wants to called you mama and daddy, and wants to be held in the arm of someone, who will say, I love you child, I am going to take care of you.

May the Almighty God bless you in all your endeavor as you continue to help the less fortunate in our society?

I am pleased to say a big thanks to Relief, Inc. through the “WOW” sponsorship program for given me a knowledge in computer training. This is the first time in my life for an org working in Liberia to give me this kind of opportunity. Today I have become a part of the working force in Liberia since the computer training through which I have received. I have become an asset to my country, Liberia. Thanks again to Relief, Inc. “WOW” sponsorship program. I pray that you help someone else to become an asset to our beloved country, Liberia.

Best Regards,

Williette Dennis-Walker

Relief, Inc. helped me in the area of training, attitude, and hope. Meaning, they have trained me in the area of tailoring and now I can make a blouses, skirts, and little boys and girls suits. I feel so good about this that my attitude has changed about life and the future. I am beginning to be able to take care of myself. I don’t have to look up to a man for everything. I can now buy my own food, soap, toothpaste, cream, grease, and so on and so on.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would like to see the organization improve so that I can do better things with my life, by learning how to fix hair (Go to Beauty School) which will help me to take care my child and I will like to be empower by the nonprofit so that I can pass it on to my unburned generation, children and those who will like to hear how I made a success and who help me. And in this light, people will know that no condition is permanent.

How did you find this group?

I heard about this group from their General coordinator, Mr. Aloysius Barr. Who we call Mr. Do Good, he sometimes go around helping and talking about, how one can have hope in God, when he spoke about the organization, that was how I heard about the nonprofit and since Mr. Do good send my name to the organization. They put me in school (Tailoring Training). And now, I can do so many other things. Sewing blouses by hand. God bless the non-profit. Long live the nonprofit.

What, if any, change in your life has this group encouraged?

To help me to become independent and self-sufficient!

My name is Annie Williams. This non-profit (Relief, Inc.) has helped me in so many ways. By sending my daughter to school when I could not afford to do for my child. When my child took sick the non-profit took full responsibility of her medical fees and medications. They have given me a new life by transforming my life, in taking me and my child out of a place where no one would like to live only because of the condition of my life; I had to live in the swamp for more than 28 years. Now today Relief, Inc. has changed my life into a new person.
I am presently living in a nice room with an inside bathroom. Something I have never dreamed about living in a place where the non-profit has paid my rent in full and I can sleep in peace without my land-law giving me problems. So now, I can praise God for this non-profit to continue the good work for people they have not seen but have the passion to help them. May God bless Relief, Inc. organization for all they are doing and will do to change lives in this poor country Liberia.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

so many different area of my life. From confidence building to learning a skill, housing help, and medical help fot my daughter

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

More funding will help the non-profit be able to assist my child and I as well as others. for example; I would like to go into business so I can be able to help myself after the non-profit leaves. I would also like to see the organization improve so that my life can be better. The improvement will help me learn how to do other things with my hands, empowering me through a macro credit loan. God will bless Relief, Inc. organization and give them the funding to keep this program running!
