I persoanally know Ron Fortt and Phebe. Their passion for helping the people in need of Liberia motivated me not only to contribute but I know work with the United Nations Infopoverty Program where i will introduced anyone that may help Relief Inc. Also when I visited their beautiful home Phebe brought my wife and I out to the garage where there was wall to wall boxes earmark for Liberia. They've turned their home into a warehaouse and leave their cars on the driveway. THe least I can do is to support them.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

in reviewing their trip to Liberia West Africia delivering the first humaritarian container

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

help them get a warehouse and find them some more support to help the cost of shipping the supplies.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that the money given goes 100% to the cause

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

awesome

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change several villages

Ways to make it better...

I had given them more money

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

SHIPPING COSTS!

One thing I'd also say is that...

please give if anly $10 and 10 referals, this could go a long way

Relief, Inc. os an organization designed to help the Women and Children of Liberia. When I first came upon this organization, I was impressed and willing to do whatever I could to help this organization to be successful.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

When the moving van came to collect all the donations and Mr. and Mrs. Fortt took the trip to Liberia to deliver the collected donations the energy felt during and after the trip was wonderful. Success is a great feeling.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The main change this organization requires is an increase in financial donations. The more financial help Relief, Inc. receives will allow the donations collected to be shipped more often to those in Liberia and in in need.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The feeling I receive when I know I am heliping others

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Professional and heart-warming individuals

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Empower women and children of third world countries.

Ways to make it better...

If I could witness the mivng van sending collected donations more ofter to Liberia.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finances. If the financial side was a big as the hearts of the organizers. This organization would experience success more ofter.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I pray this organization experiences much more success in the years to come.

I understand the mission of Relief Inc. of Modesto Ca,and I feel very comfortable with the organization. I know the donated clothes, non perishable foods and my volunteer time is helping those in need. I am very impressed with how the organization is ran and how it is clearly identified as to where the donated food products and clothing is tracked and makes it to where is is intended for. The organizations founder Phebe Dennis Fortt along with her husband Ronald Fortt have taken the time to vidieo the complete operation from start to finish as to how the products are loaded into containers and shipped to Liberia Africa. I have seen the videoa that have been shown at different gatherings at non profit events. I belong to several organiztions and this one is by far one that I will always continue to help in anyway that I can. I would encourage anyone that would like to join an organization to join this one as you will definitly fill very good about yourself as I do because it is definitly a proven worthy cause

Dream and pleasure working with humanitarian organization, Started in 2002 when Liberia was going through a serious civil problem-bulelts flying everywhere. Talked to Phoebe on the phone - gathered information to start the not for profit. no internet service in liberia - would be calling PHoebe with bullets flying. 2004, 2005, 2006 - first shipment to people destitute from the war. there were no fees charged - received and were so happy. That's when people of Liberia understood what he was doing and he can see the difference. The community of New Kru Town of approximately 20,000 people -impoverished- most of the poeple there go to the beach, fish and go to the market and sell. The illiteracy rate is high there - and the people are barely able to take care of themselves.

I met Phebe on May 8th of 2006 at the Soroptimist Best for Women Award Ceremony luncheon where she was awarded “Woman of Distinction Award”. I became a volunteer and donator at that time. I have spent many hours working with Phebe packing items in barrels that were shipped to Liberia in 2006. I have watched Phebe work so hard to help the Liberian people. Being around her has inspired me to do what I can to help this non-profit organization and will continue to help until I am not able to anymore. This Non-Profit Organization is so needed for the people that Phebe wants’ to help and I hope more people will do just that. Susan Aquino

R.E.L.I.E.F, Inc. is an incredibly ethical organization. I have personally seen that each persons donation goes directly into the program of their choice.

That said, I am very excited to be involved with Relief's efforts to not only help the impoverished in Liberia, but to educate women
and children so that they are able to provide for themselves in the future.

There are currently a number of programs in place that really need funding. WOW is the Women Of Worth program. This program provides scholarships for women's trade education. The KIS program is Kids In School and it provides children with education, so important in a country that is basically starting over with very little infrastructure. Relief also ships donations of food, clothing and medical items to Liberia.

Relief is also helping those in need in the Central Valley of California. They are active in their US home base, delivering much needed food and supplies.

I encourage you to support this fantastic organization led by selfless dedicated people of integrity.

Phobe Dennis-Fortt is a force to be reckoned with. Her passion and love for the people of Liberia is contagious. When she speaks, the urgent need of her people spreads through the air and becomes a part of you. She believes in helping people one person at a time and getting it right. I am impressed with her leadership and direction and am honored to be on her Board.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

2008: Local community food giveaway to the needy at Thanksgiving. 2009: Relief Inc.'s toy distribution of 10,000 new toys to the needy children in the local community. I will never forget the looks on the children's faces.

provide a way to increase Phebe's corporate donors and fundraising capacity in order to better serve the Liberian people and the local community.

I have been attending the Relief Inc.'s Crab Feed for the past 3-4 years. My daughter and her BSU organization in high school introduced me to this organization. Last year I decided to volunteer since I work part time. From the first Crab Feed I felt a need to do more for this wonderful organization and cause. Phebe works tirelessly with the various components of this organization. Her energy ignites me to work harder. I am proud to be a part of this organization and look forward to helping as many people as we can. Each one, teach one has always been my model and I feel that this is what this organization is all about.

help many people here and in Liberia with leadership training, building the community, rebuilding the country and training the people in Liberia to farm and how to change their economy.

Ways to make it better...

Not in the organizations control, need more volunteers

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finances and the lack committed volunteers.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Phebe has endured many hardships, but she won't let them get in her way. She has a beautiful spirit and a wonderful work ethic.

My first encounter with Relief, Inc. was in 2005 when I worked for a small Christian television program as a host and I interviewed Phebe Fortt. Our friendship was instantaneous and when my job ended with the tv program I volunteered and created a fundraising opportunity for the Women of Worth (WOW)program by establishing chapters whereby groups or individuals can sponsor a women who is in vocational training in Liberia. I am also grateful for the leadership training facilitated by Ron Fortt whose program I have successfully implemented in my own life with great results. I love this non-profit organization!

I have witnessed firsthand the work of this non-profit both in domestic and foreign efforts. It is so exciting to see how this work is changing lives at home and abroad!

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The change I would make is the change I see coming. When others become aware of the relationship between the United States and Liberia, I believe more people will want to do more to empower the people of war-torn Liberia as they too will be empowered.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

When people from various walks of life come together for the betterment of a suffering people.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Staff and volunteers have been multicultural which I feel adds to the sensitivity for humankind.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Ten million bucks would allow this organization to be able to ship food, water, educational and medical supplies annually, perhaps twice a year. It would also help fund programs for leadership & vocational training as well as the children's programs.

Ways to make it better...

The experience is always getting better as we go.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

. . .not enough hands!

One thing I'd also say is that...

This is a very credible non-profit.
