Release the Fear gives us the tools to become who we are meant to be by helping us to discard all that inhibits us and allows us to open ourselves up to new thought patterns, new ideas and new destinations. Through group activities, we learn to relate to those around us, having a better understanding of who they are and how we all connect. By individual introspection, we come to see who we truly are and are able to work through all that holds us back from the place of where we shine as our best self. It pulls a person through extrinsic motivation into intrinsic motivation helping them to see the gift of who they are and the wonder of giving that gift to others. Release the Fear challenges the very essence of our beings, bettering who we are and therefore creating the dynamic of going out into the world, knowing that we can make a difference. Release the Fear is an organization that strives to help youth analyze their fears and realize that others share those same fears. It requires them to reflect on their own thought processes and dialogue with others to problem solve. Release the Fear encourages all of this by using the "creative" side of the brain. I have personally observed workshops at Excelencia school and saw students who were reluctant to share on the first day of the workshop become fully engaged by the the last session. This unique approach helped students realize that they do have control over their lives.
