Alano Recovery Homes was the only organization willing to give me a chance coming from an out-of-state treatment center. They accepted me based only on a phone interview and my life has been forever changed. I couldn't ever put four clean and sober days together when I was drinking and using, and today, with Alano's help, I have over four years. Thanks to Liz and Coyt and God I have a life worth living today. Thank you!
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My relationships with other people, most importantly my family. My family was done with me after all I had put them through. After a few years in Colorado involved with Alano, though, and I have rebuilt those relationships.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the relationships I've formed. I no longer have drinking buddies whom I think are my friends, I have real friends.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
generous and kind, and not all about the money like so many others.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
give most of it away I'm sure, and use the rest to help alcoholics.
