Working with AV REACT has showen the community what a volenteer group can provide for a community. Provided communacations for service and emergency, react c40 maintains high quality by taping in to resorces as hams cb,ers. The majority of the team have had extra traing with thr red cross, cert and added radio comm work. In the past the team has worked dog shows bikecycle races and monetering of radio emergcy stations.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

I am a CERT volunteer. I first learned about AV REACT C040 at an Eergency Peparedness Epo. I did not know about the free radio training they offered. I joined them to aid in their efforts with local community groups. America is great because of its volunteers. Here is a group of volunteers who make a difference and do it locally. I support their aims.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the Palmdale Hometown Heroes Christmas Parade of 2009.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting other volunteers who donate their time and money to local groups at community events or at Disaster Expos to discuss the free 2-way radio training they offer.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all experienced radio operators who welcomed a new member with interest but no experience with radios.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

recruit new members, reach more community organizations and be more efficient as emergency responders.
