They present themselves as altruistic but their goal is to convert people to ultra orthodox religion. It's creepy. If you attend an event they will hound you.

Very nice but expect to be badgered for donations very soon. Went to a weekend program and thought the speakers were excellent but am not sure if I should donate to promote this. Seems everyone is already where the head of the group wants and do not understand where the money would go.

This is a BS ORG i was cursed and emotionally abused by one of the rabbis of this ORG, i hope this ORG goes down ASAP cause instead of looking to make Jews better they are only there for the money, for instance i know many non religious Jews who tried coming to their programs but with lack of funding got denied, but on the other hand if they know you got money these people will suck your money as much as they can, i worked in the office and attended many events i know very well how their system works.

I listened to online classes given by a rabbi who was a former classmate of mine. I am so proud that the Jewish people has organizations such as this one that reach out to so many people in a user-friendly way.

I am so thrilled to see RAJE at its peak today. I am a proud colleague of Rabbi Tokarsky, RAJE Executive Director, and know him personally. I met Rabbi Tokarsky before the inception of RAJE. When the idea for the fellowships came about I was happy to coordinate with him and help by providing space for meetings and Hillel students to participate in the beginning stages of the program. RAJE is truly an exemplary non-profit organization. The staff at RAJE is instrumental in recognizing, understanding and responding to the needs of the community. Today, a large number of Hillel students are involved with RAJE and continue to be inspired by this fantastic organization. It is my pleasure and honor to be involved with RAJE and I encourage students and professionals to get involved.

This is simply a wonderful organization. I am particularly impressed in their ability to motivate young people and to connect them to their Jewish identity. Organizations like this are vital if Jews have any hope of fighting assimilation.

Best jewish organization I have ever attended. Because of them I am finally learning things I never did. They are the Jewish/Yesiva experience I never got growing up as a young Russian/Jewish boy in NYC.

I've never been interested in joining any jewish organization before. I consider myself to be secular and have never met any Rabbi who could engage me on a personal level. Until i came to RAJE i never knew anything about being a Jew. They've taken me in like a long lost relative and they accept me for who i am and communicate the jewish faith in a way that's entertaining, engaging and I've learned more about being a jew in one month of RAJE then i have in the previous 25 yrs of my life. For the first time in my life i have discovered what it feels like to be among my people.

Like many people, I am concerned about the possibility of losing my job, or at least losing work hours. So I watch my budget. I found out about RAJE from the Internet. I'm glad I went to RAJE fo rRosh Hashana. I loved every minute of it!!! Not only were the meals very affordable and delicious, but i enjoyed real comeraderie and friendliness. the services were in Hebrew, Russian, and English. There were Dvrei Torah (lectures) in English, and othrs in Russian. thre was something for EVERYONE, no matter what languages you understood. And I saw the real commitment to not leaving anyone out. I know that people could pay for meals by helping out instead of giving money. Even though I do, thank God, have the money now, many people really don't. I'll continue to do so as long as RAJE exits!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

offer religious services and Shabbat meals in more places! It could help even more people who've lost their jobs but still yearn for Jewish learning and fellowship! It could fix up more Jewish singles! Give RAJE 10 million $! It's worth it!!!

Ways to make it better...

I lived in walking distance of the shul. RAJE offers to find hospitality, but I'm skittish about staying in other people's homes.
