This is Malina fahiz, Managing Director of Afghan women Enterprise Network (AWEN) nongovernmental Organization working for women and girls empowerment to play their role and participate on decision making process on issues related to their lives and country and poverty reduction to priorities the people needs and ensure the social, economic and political well-being of rural society, especially poor and vulnerable people and has numbers of program in areas of business development ,capacity building ,awareness ,animal husbandry ,human train assistance and income-generation projects in Baghlan ,Samangan Takhar and Kabul provinces and AWEN help to build a bridge between government and deferent community and has close relationship with them and received Award certificates for good performance of its activities in the field of women empowerment from Women affairs department of Baghlan ,governor of Baghlan province ,Economic department of Baghlan , CDP-USAID ,PRT of Baghlan , governor of Laghman , AKDN and MFA and Our staff attended more than 40 management connected trainings in sight and out site of Afghanistan, and is one of grantees of Counterpart in Afghanistan since 2010. received technical assistance in areas of management from Counter part of Afghanistan and other donors, now we have human rights awareness and women political participants project from I-PACS counterpart Afghanistan in 14 distracts of Baghlan province for young girls and boys ,teacher and mullahs and community elder which people really appreciated and supported for workshop place women gathering , we appreciated the community elders and representatives of Baghlan province by this project we could merge governmental authorities ,elders , community representatives and young ,the community people become aware from government plan and government become aware the people problems , my experience I worked as health and hygiene coordination in nine provinces for five years in AKF and four year part time as head of women’s activities in Aga khan national council volunteer, one year at MMRD as women empowerment adviser in 12 provinces of Afghanistan , of course, all theses experiences ,training and technical assistance, not only from Counterpart but,also from other international donors in Afghanistan made me able the services to secure funds for the organization and do service regarding their needs for my communities.

I have experienced and seen the result of this organization 1- in capacity building for women they find job 2- awareness project that the community people behavior changed towards of women and girls rights , violence and education and many women candied their selves and the participants demand awareness workshop for their children 3- income –generation project ,they are selling their produces and going to become self sufficient and bring gender equality in our community.

I have experienced with deferent community and trip behavior and needs , What I learn that people is interested with those projects that we had need assessment and they need not regarding the donor policy and the communities awareness is very low all community prefer to keep their tradition if it is wrong , our people need more awareness to change their be behavior towards of women and girls rights and tradition and income- generation project for empowerment of women .
