QSAC offers a wide variety of programs and services that are essential to individuals living with autism. The agency provides programs for preschool children to teens to adults in their 40s. Autism has recently become a "hot" topic and the increased press is bringing much needed awareness to individuals with ASD; however the emphasis is mostly placed on autistic children. It would appear that adults with autism are rarely considered. QSAC understands that children with ASD will grow into adults with ASD. The agency provides a number of programs and services to address the needs of the adult ASD population while continuing to focus on early intervention with younger children and other programs for young adults.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I spent a day at the various QSAC facilities and was able to see firsthand the fabulous work accomplished. The staff is kind, considerate, patient, and knowledgeable. In addition, the staff provided a great deal of information and a number of resources that has been invaluable in dealing with my godchild who was recently diagnosed with autism.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would advocate for more funding so that QSAC could offer their essential services to even more NYC residents with ASD and their families.
