I worked on a medical project to help homeless with lice problems. We were able to identify about 8 people with infestations. They received advice on how to get rid of them as well as treatment onsite under the direction of a physician. It was extremely worthwhile. I will be back. I was impressed with the other volunteers I saw through the day. .

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The appreciation of the homeless.

Ways to make it better...

Volunteers knew where the medical podium was located.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

I had an absolutely fabulous time! Loved it - highlight was meeting a man who was a voice recognition engineer who was incredibly bright. I gathered he had a tough break somewhere along the line. We sat and talked for about 20 minutes about politics. I found out he was an Army vet and loves the city. Thanks so much!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

fellow professionals

Ways to make it better...

need an overview of what was going on - e.g., info about pet sitting on the front end.

with 22% of hunters point homeless, you will need to have this twice a month for 6 months before you see an impact

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

More of these. Twice a month

Everything was good today. I'd like to see this more. The best part was meeting all the new people. I've been living here a long time and it is nice to see fresh people. This is like that thing that happens once a year that is good.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Make this event bigger and help more people.

Got some food. All the volunteers were helpful. Signed up for services. Favorite part was being escorted by the young ladies. What would have been more helpful? I wanted more information on housing opportunities.

Everybody was very helpful. Lunch was excellent. The services provided were good and people were friendly. I enjoyed myself. I didn't need it as much as others but had a lot of fun.

I wouldn't change anything. Getting an ID was the best part. Everything you could possible need is here. Lots of nice people.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do more of the same. Everything is right here.
