Many talented college graduates believe that their only choices at graduation are to (1) get paid well, working for a big corporation that's likely to contribute to the social and environmental challenges we face, or (2) have a positive social and environmental impact and live paycheck to paycheck. So they go on the safe side, working for global companies and know there has to be something better out there for them. ProInspire offers that something better! ProInspire provides a vital bridge for emerging leaders to translate their corporate skills into value that mission-driven organizations desperately need to diversify or amplify their impact. I have been continuously impressed with the quality of the ProInspire Fellows I have had the privilege to get to know. I look forward to supporting the growth of ProInspire, which I believe is one of the critical bridge programs for both mission-driven professionals and social sector organizations.

ProInspire provides the perfect avenue for professionals in the private sector looking to get their feet wet in the non-profit world. Navigating this transition can be daunting without the support and guidance offered throughout the program. As a current fellow, I've found the professional development opportunities to be useful not just in my day-to-day role, but also for figuring out what my next steps are overall. The importance of this type of mentorship cannot be understated, especially for many in my generation who are trying to satisfy unique career goals in a difficult job market. Thanks ProInspire!

ProInspire is an organization that provides a true bridge between the private sector and non-profit and public sectors. This organization has given me the chance to see beyond the typical career pathways of my generation. I am currently exploring the educational sector in a finance/business strategy role and I owe this eye-opening opportunity to the ProInspire fellowship. My passion for education was not satisfied in the private sector. ProInspire's selection process and team worked to ensure I was placed with an organization where I could provide an immediate impact and learn, and I am immensely grateful. Beyond, the programmatic structure of the fellowship the ProInspire coaching, mentoring and bonding with members of the cohort has far exceeded my expectations. ProInspire is working tirelessly to build the next non-profit and public sector leaders. I am honored to be a fellow in this organization and share it's goodness!

As a current ProInspire Fellow, I can say that it is challenging to make the transition from the corporate sector to the nonprofit world; however, I am continuously impressed by the resources, support, and opportunites afforded through this program, which have made my experience very rewarding! Through monthly trainings, a personal coach, and a collaborative group of cohorts, I am very happy with the decision to join the ProInspire community. I would highly recommend this Fellowship to any individual looking for an opportunity to create social change through his or her career.

I'm taking part in the ProInspire Fellowship as part of the new expansion to California. The ProInspire fellowship is an amazing program for young professionals looking to transition to the non-profit sector. Everything is done very thoughtfully and with both partner organizations' and fellows' best interests in mind. They find great organizations and roles for fellows to take leadership roles and develop great experience. They have a very diligent process to make sure they find the right fellow for each position as well. While new, the California expansion has been very great thus far led by Gene Kunde and is primed to be very successful and continue to expand in the future.

I can say from personal experience that the ProInspire fellowship truly makes it possible for young professionals to make a successful transition into the social sector. Through the program, I realized that there was a place for me to work in education despite the fact that I'm not a teacher. I'll be graduating from business school this spring and plan to return to the ed sector in a management capacity. I can honestly say I wouldn't be heading down this path without having gone through the ProInspire experience and I'm extremely grateful to Monisha and the team for their support and access.

As a member of the 2012 ProInspire fellowship I am continually surprised by how much ProInspire offers to its fellows. I believe this is due to the passion and care that founder Monisha Kapila brings to the organization. This passion is further echoed by the talented and passionate fellows that Monisha selects on an annual basis. ProInspire has been integral in my transition from the for-profit sector to the non-profit sector and I value the opportunity to surround myself with like-minds and future leaders. So far the experience has been truly unique and the opportunities I have already received do not exist in many – if any – other organizations. From monthly training to networking opportunities ProInspire offers something to anyone interested in transitioning their business acumen to making an immediate impact in the non-profit space.

ProInspire is a special organization, run by a transformational leader. Monisha Kapila and ProInspire open the door for private sector professionals that strive to work in the social sector. I have come across few organizations that support this private to social sector transition, especially with a cohort model dedicated to professional development, while championing business skills for non-profits. I am thankful I got the chance to make this transition and owe this opportunity to the ProInspire community. I am an Inspire Fellow from the Class of 2010 and I highly approve of this organization.
