Mission:
Women’s eNews is the definitive source of substantive news--unavailable anywhere else--covering issues of particular concern to women and providing women’s perspectives on public policy. It enhances women’s ability to define their own lives and to participate fully in every sector of human endeavor.

Women’s eNews developed an innovative strategy of using the Internet to distribute high-quality journalism that tells women’s stories through all available media.

With writers and readers around the globe, Women’s eNews’ audience stretches from New York City to New Delhi and all points between, reaching an estimated 1.5 million readers each year.
Results:
Though based in New York, Women’s eNews boasts experienced international journalists reporting from locations across India, Australia, Europe and Africa. The use of local reporters adds insight and knowledge to our articles which give agency to people around the world often portrayed as victims.

The award winning reporting this creates is available on multi media platforms and attracts 150,000 visitors a month to our web site and more than 53,000 registered users. Our Arabic sister site www.awomensenews.org currently attracts an audience of 35,000 visitors a month.

Since launching, Women’s eNews and Editor in Chief Rita Henley Jensen have won 32 awards.
