VIDES USA
Mission:
Since 1987 VIDES provides volunteer service opportunities for young adults and sponsors to promote education, social justice and solidarity. They serve with the Salesians (FMA, SDB) in Africa, Asia, North/South America, Europe and Australia. They share of their time, talent, and treasure to make it possible for the needy help themselves. VIDES+USA is part of VIDES International, NGO in special consultative status with the Department of Public Information and the Economic-Social-Council of the United-Nations.

VIDES allows volunteers to assist women and children to better their lives. After attending a solid orientation program, volunteers work all over the world to help promote indepedence, self esteem, & learning. VIDES USA is a wonderful organization both in its promotion of women and children throughout the world and in it's providing of opportunities for American young people to work for service and social justice in a wide array of domestic and international settings.
