Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: TheatreWorks volunteers help us in a variety of ways, from hospitality to administration, operations, and marketing.

TheatreWorkers is a volunteer organization that supports TheatreWorks through special events, fundraising, and other activities on an occasional basis. Our costume rental program, opening night receptions, general auditions, and marketing/administrative support are just some of the areas where TheatreWorkers play an active role.

Resident Volunteers help out at our offices weekdays on a consistent weekly or monthly schedule. They are truly an invaluable resource to the company and receive “insider perks” for their dedicated service.

Ushers and concessions volunteers are active evenings and weekends. They present our “public face” to everyone attending TheatreWorks shows at the Lucie Stern Center in Palo Alto. (The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts has its own usher program.)

We just attended the opening for Clementine and the Lower 9. We liked it very much. The set is one of the best we've seen. The actress who plays Clementine is excellent. It's a good, poignant story about real life. The intertwining of the blues (live music on stage) is especially moving. ... more »

TheatreWorks is a professional equity theater company in Silicon Valley. The work done there, musicals as well as dramas, is comparable to anything you would see in NYC. Their reputation is known throughout the country, especially in NYC. The productions are always top notch... more »
