Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Participate in Off-site Adoption events, Help keep the shelter clean for our resident kitties, Help to socialize shy kitties, help with administrative duties.

THE HERMITAGE IS DEDICATED TO THE SHELTER, PROTECTION AND CARE OF HOMELESS CATS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE OFTEN NOT CONSIDERED ADOPTABLE BY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
Results:
In 2011 we took in 486 cats and kittens, from owners unable to care for their animals, from good Samaritans who rescued kitties, or other animal facilities who would otherwise have to euthanize the cats. We adopted out 457 cats and kittens to good forever homes last year as well.

I originally donated to this organization (I am a fundraising in another state) because a dear friend, now deceased, was involved. She volunteered, donated, and cared for the cats...and I respected her opinion. Being a no-kill shelter is important and this shelter maintains this policy with ...
