Mission:

We are dedicated to raising awareness of and funding for fistula repair, prevention, and educational programs worldwide to help eradicate fistula.

Results:

The Fistula Foundation is the largest private charitable foundation supporting fistula treatment globally. Wherever possible, we work to empower dedicated local doctors in developing countries. We fund fistula surgery, training of surgeons, building of hospitals and operating rooms dedicated to fistula surgery, “mobile” care clinics where no hospitals exist in rural regions of the world and outreach and education to let women know where they can receive treatment.

As a Board Member of the Fistula Foundation, I have personally visited many of the hospitals this organization funds to be able to assure donors that their money is actually being spent appropriately.
