Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Throughout each season, over 130 choristers perform to audiences totaling over 2500 people. Concert volunteers include dozens of parent chaperones and front-of-house volunteers donating over 180 hours of their time to the SCC. Parent volunteers also assist with weekly rehearsals, monitoring attendance and dismissal of each chorister to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the chorus run smoothly and that the safety and well-being of each chorister is ensured.

Geographic areas served: Upstate NY - specifically families in Onondaga, Madison, Oswego and Oneida counties, among others

The Syracuse Children's Chorus creates collaborative experiences in which young people share their joy of singing, develop their sense of beauty and deepen their commitment to excellence through choral music education and performance

This is my daughter's first year with SCC and she has truly loved her experiences thus far. Her chorus director is outstanding.
