SCGRRescue's mission is to find loving, lifetime homes for all Southern California Golden Retrievers in need, regardless of conditions or circumstances. We will always strive to heal the sick and injured, rehabilitate the neglected and abused, and nurture the aged and unwanted until we find the perfect family who will shower them with unconditional love.

I have volunteer for this organization since it's beginnings in 2008. I have made wonderful friends, who share the same passion as I do - rescuing dogs. We just happen to focus on Golden Retrievers, and are very successful in finding perfect homes to fit the dog's needs and personalities.

We adopted a Golden Retriever last summer from SCGRR. He's the perfect match for our family, and I am still so amazed at all the work these volunteers do for these dogs. If it wasn't for this organization, we wouldn't have our beloved dog. I am so thankful to SCGRR from the bottom of my heart, ...

This rescue is a small group of dedicated people who have a love for the golden retriever breed like nothing I have ever seen. I was drawn to the group after loosing my own golden and have had many heart warming moments because of them.
