Target demographics: Parents of all children with special needs
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Serve on a committee to plan special events, Help with fundraising, Help with child care during respite events.
Mission:
Our pursuit is to continuously support and encourage those living with the daily challenge of parenting a child with special needs so that the genuine love and hope of Jesus will be experienced and shared in their everyday lives.
Results:
Begun in 2002, this organization began with 6 couples and a box of tissues. Today, we serve over 2,200 families both locally and nationwide. This year to date, despite the economy, we were able to grant $1,550 in aid through gift cards to 32 families. We were also able to ship 45 of our signature gift baskets to encourage mother & fathers around the US. Parents we also able to connect through us via 3 public speaking engagements, 5 appearances at various conferences and 3 local events in Wisconsin.
