Mission:

Shelter Partnership, Inc. is dedicated to alleviating, preventing and ending homelessness by assisting in the development of short-term and transitional housing programs, affordable housing, and supportive services for the homeless and potentially homeless throughout Los Angeles County.

Results:

During our fiscal year 2009/10, we distributed $8.5 million worth of new goods to 225 homeless shelters and projects in Los Angeles County through our S. Mark Taper Foundation Shelter Resource Bank.

Shelter Partnership takes on the crucial task of collecting and distributing much needed items to most of the homeless agencies in Los Angeles. When I see a homeless person, I feel a little less helpless when I know that Shelter Partnership exists. I remember when it first began, Ann Lane told me about it. Well, The Partnership has grown. Sadly, so has the homeless population. I have been to the warehouse in Bell and it gladdens... more »

I have been a Board member for over 20 years of a non-profit for abused and neglected kids. I have a heart for those less fortunate individuals that need our assistance.
