STARS IS EL PASO'S ONLY RAPE CRISIS CENTER AND WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROMOTE A WORLD WITHOUT SEXUAL VIOLENCE THROUGH EDUCATION REGARDING SEXUAL VIOLENCE ISSUES; PROVIDING SERVICES TO VICTIMS/SURVIVORS AND ALL THOSE AFFECTED; AND BY INVITING OUR COMMUNITY TO JOIN US IN THESE EFFORTS.

I began volunteering for S.T.A.R.S. of El Paso, TX in March 2008. This is an amazing organization!! As volunteers, we are taught about myths associated with sexual assaults and their victims or perpetrators and how to provide crisis intervention to victims.
