SOHO’s mission is to improve quality of life and increase life expectancy for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), particularly those living in child-headed households, in communities adversely affected by HIV/AIDS through health education initiatives and by facilitating access to available resources.

I have attended a few fund raising events for SOHO and have learned a lot about issues concerning the children of Sub – Saharan Africa. I went last March to Swaziland with my University and SOHO. I was blown away at how much SOHO was making lie better for the orphans in Swaziland.
