Mission
Our mission is to end hunger in San Francisco. We work towards that mission by distributing millions of pounds of food every year and fighting for sound governmental nutritional policy.
In San Francisco, 150,000 people struggle each day to feed themselves and their families. Through our network of almost 200 neighborhood pantries, we work to provide nutritious foods to everyone facing the threat of hunger. Each day, we distribute enough food for 70,000 meals.
