Mission:
Our mission is to bring people together through the medium of Spoken Samskrit and to inspire them about the importance of social work in local communities. People who come to our classes and activities form a network through which they find out ways and means to volunteer their time, efforts and money to fulfill the needs of their respective local communities. What type of community activity to start or join is left to individuals. Samskrita Bharati provides a forum and a network of experienced individuals for new volunteers to think, plan and execute various social activities like voluntary service at public schools, tutoring grade-school children in science and math, providing counseling to seniors and troubled teenagers, running special weekend programs and summer day-camps for children. Samskrita Bharati's main goal is to create a community of socially responsible Samskritam speakers.

The volunteers and workers in this organization amaze me with their dedication, effort and above-all cheerfulness.
