Mission:

Saheli aims to 'empower women to lead fulfilling lives by providing friendship, support, and guidance through resources and volunteer opportunities'. We assist women to help themselves by seeing what is possible. Our goal is to make our services available to the all members of the SA community in Massachusetts, and especially in Burlington, Woburn, Somerville, Waltham, Cambridge, Randolph, Quincy, and Framingham and Natick.

This is great organization, who makes great difference in these women's lives, who does not have any body to help them with resources. Saheli's goal is to have abuse free life for all south Asians in New England area... more »

Saheli serves South Asian women experiencing abuse and violence in the Massachusetts area.They also do work overseas helping women who have been abandoned. Its a small organization, just three part-time staff, but it does a lot - English, computer classes, free, domestic abuse assistance, ... more »
