Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: • Help us take care of invasive species.
• Teach children about the wonders of world around them to help instill the "sense of wonder" in them.
• Inform visitors of what the nature center has to offer and what they can do in the park.
• Help with major events, such as our Fall Fun Fest and Earth Day events

Geographic areas served: Lower Racine County, Kenosha County, and Northern Lake County Illinois

Pringle Nature Center is a regional resource where people of all ages can experience nature, environmental education, conservation and stewardship. We do this by: Putting People in Touch with Nature

The teachers were knowledgable and friendly with the kids. The troop learned a lot and had fun building nesting sites for ground animals... more »

We love Pringle as a family. We usually on average visit Pringle twice a month in Spring Summer and Fall. My son has learned so much from the volunteers and there are always talks and educational speakers to learn from. We love the pond and spend hours catching frogs and learning about everything in... more »
