Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Help at adoption of fundraising events, provide direct care to adoptable dogs and cats, build winter shelters for feral cats.

Mission:
Our mission is to end the euthanasia of homeless dogs and cats statewide and to promote humane alternatives for feral cats.
Results:
Since we began in 2000, dog and cat adoptions in Utah have increased by 35% and euthanasia has decreased by over 40%. Additionally, we have worked with municipalities throughout the state to promote Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for feral cats, which has helped decrease euthanasia in the state.

On the weekends NMHPU is at Petsmart with a group of loving dogs and cats looking for new homes and families for these deserving pets. If you've been to Petsmart and seen the dogs and cats there for pet adoption weekends you've probably seen lovely cats and dogs. Often when I'm there people ...
