Target demographics: Farmworkers and Latinos
Direct beneficiaries per year: Approximately 700 Latinos and farmworkers residing permanently in Downeast Maine. Also, approximately 2,000 migrant farmworkers during various seasons.
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Train to become a mentor or tutor or perform valuable office-related tasks.
Geographic areas served: Washington and eastern Hancock Counties.

“To build a stronger community in Downeast Maine by working with diverse populations to provide affordable housing and educational opportunities, remove barriers to health and social services, and advocate for social justice.”
