Mission

To bridge the inequalities in society through education.

Make A Difference was conceived in 2006 by a group of college students. After having visited a poor home, they came to the realization that under-privileged children lost out on life, not because they were incapable, but because they were not given the basic requirements to succeed: Education.

Meanwhile, the founders also identified Educated Youth as a means to the end. The educated youth force of the country have always been willing to help out with a good cause, but they never quite knew how.

MAD put the two together. The youth force teaching the under privileged children necessary life skills that’d help these kids have better future prospects.

MAD’s vision of bridging the inequalities in society through education is catered to by providing children in orphanages, street shelters and poor homes quality education that focuses on skills and experiential learning rather than textbook education. Over the past three years of existence, MAD has evolved it’s own syllabus to achieve this end.
