Mission:
LCIF, was established in 1968 as the humanitarian arm of Lions Clubs International. It supports the activities of Lions throughout the world with particular emphasis on blindness prevention and sight restoration projects (SightFirst), youth programs, aiding the disabled, and emergency and disaster relief grants to assist communities impacted by natural catastrophes.

To echo another reviewer, NONE of the charity money that you donate goes to administrative expenses. Members pay yearly membership dues and that is where all of the administrative expenses come from. Internationally and locally, Lions serve... more »

I question the rating given by Charity Navigator because 100% of all monies collected by Lions Clubs go back to the community. NO fund raising contributions are diverted to admistrative costs. The organization is very strict on this policy and will expel a local club if that club cannot show in ... more »
