Target demographics: Lemay homeowners and residents
priority to low-income, senior, disabled, and those with code violations.

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: knock on doors to help stop foreclosure, shovel snow or rake leaves for a senior living alone, help someone fill out paperwork for the assistance they need, call residents to let them know about homeowner education workshops, call donors to say thank you. :)

Mission:

TO PROVIDE HOME IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Results:

In 2010, we more than doubled the number of homes receiving home repairs that improve health and safety to 33. In 2011, since June, we have done the same for 38 and hope to reach by April 50!

LHP and it's staff are dedicated to helping low income and elderly homeowners in Lemay. Their efforts have improved living conditions and the lives of many people in this community. Their services help to make Lemay a great place to live... more »

I have had the oppurtunity in the past to support lhp by attending fundraisers to support their work. I have also had the chance to get to know some of their staff and recognize how dedicated they are to their mission... more »
