Mission:

Keystone Pet-Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS) is organized to promote animal assisted therapy and activities by recruiting, educating, and coordinating volunteers with the facilities, social agencies, and special needs programs whose clients may benefit from the healing and rehabilitating effects of the human/animal bond.

I became involved with KPETS last year with my 10 year old Brittany who I rescued 7 years ago. KPETS have been in the New Oxford Area Library since 2008. I have had parents tell me their child began reading with more confidence since they visited the library to read aloud to the therapy animals.
