KFAR Jewish Arts Center is an independent arts organization that stimulates, promotes and produces the next generation of Jewish expression. Hebrew for village, KFAR brings artists and audiences together around vibrant arts-oriented celebrations of Jewish heritage in Chicago, creating alternative conduits to community and inspiring investigations of identity by artists and performers exploring our culture through their craft.

Kfar consistently offers programming for the Jewish community which is bold and innovative. It often stretches the old definitions of what constitutes Jewish culture. Kfar gives the Chicagoland area a much needed injection of Jewish-themed culture. It also provides a much needed haven for touring artists as they try to make a stop in the Midwest worth their while. The programs are incredibly diverse, and serve well beyond their intended demographic. You see ...
