KACEE’s mission is to promote and provide quality, non-biased and science-based conservation and environmental education for all Kansans.

KACEE has provided educational training and resources for more than 20,000 Kansas educators using high quality environmental education programs like Project Learning Tree, Project WET, Project WILD, Project WILD Aquatic, and the Leopold Education (early childhood, K-8 and secondary programs).

Indirect beneficiaries per year: 100,000+
Obstacles:
To provide stability and increase our capacity, the KACEE Board of Directors has established an endowment account. We have a current goal of raising at least $60,000 to fully fund this account.
With 3 hours a volunteer can:
Volunteer options include help with special events like our conference, awards celebration, the Topeka Water Festival, our annual membership meeting as well as helping to host and provide environmental education workshops and trainings across the state.
What your donation will allow us to do:
A donation to KACEE enables us to work toward insuring that our children grow up to be environmentally literate adults who are capable of making informed and responsible decisions about our earth and resources.
Your donation of 20 enables us to:
Share information about environmental education opportunities and resources with 200 educators
Your donation of 50 enables us to:
Provide environmental education professional development to one classroom teacher
Your donation of 100 enables us to:
Recruit 5 schools to become a part of the Kansas Green Schools Network
