Jubilee’s mission is “to provide women a safe and supportive place to live and an opportunity to learn while becoming self-reliant in housing and employment.”
At Jubilee, we are led by the guiding principle that all women are to be treated with respect and dignity. By valuing the inherent gifts and talents of every woman, we focus on the positive place within her. This unique philosophy, coupled with out extensive support services, helps women make permanent change from the inside-out.

The Jubilee Women's Center (JWC) is a place women can find themselves again. My first contact with the JWC was through a then acquaintence that had become homeless and asked me to assist her in finding housing. I went with her to JWC for the intial interview. I started volunteering with Jubilee in the Fall of last year (2009) through the University of Washington. Jubilee was meant to provide me with a taste of social service work and get me out of the classroom and into the "real world." It's done SO much more than that...
