Target demographics: Disabled individuals with limited financial means

Mission:
It is the primary mission of the IFPD to provide necessary and appropriate prostheses, orthotics and durable medical devices for various individuals of limited financial means, as well as victims of war and the disabled in thirld world and developing countries.
Results:
- Prosthesis for 2-year old girl in South Africa
- Prosthesis for male amputee in Colorado, USA
- Knee brace for female applicant in California, USA

I found a listing online for organizations who accepted prosthetics no longer needed. As I understand, the components are used to either make new artificil limbs, or the entire item is passed on to those who are in need. When my husband passed away I didn't know what to do with his artificial leg... more »
