IEF is an amazing organization. Within the last year alone they have rallied and attacked EEHV (elephant endotheliotropic herpesvirus) which is a fatal disease that kills 1 in 4 baby elephants. There's no cure, and IEF is focusing their efforts to find a cure. This is truly important work that ... more »

I think this organization is great. I know that Mike Fouraker of the Fort Worth Zoo initiated and organized the conceptual meeting of the IEF. The Fort Worth Zoo supports many conservation efforts and I know that Mike Fouraker also organized the International Iguana Foundation. Kudos to those ... more »

Well, these guys are founded by the Center for Elephant Conservation--a training camp for elephants in Florida.
