Transforming lives through the power of work: Goodwill Southern California serves persons with disabilities or other vocational disadvantages and local businesses seeking qualified employees by providing education, skills training, work experience and job placement services.
Since 1916, Goodwill Southern California has offered basic education, job training, and work opportunities for people with disabilities and other vocational disadvantages (e.g., homelessness, illiteracy, substance abuse issues, former gang involvement, lack of job skills, or welfare dependence).At Goodwill Southern California, people learn the skills they need to experience the joy of earning their own way and the dignity of becoming productive contributors to our community.The sum of our energies, our physical resources, our creativity and our funds is totally focused on helping people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to become more self-sufficient and independent.Goodwill Southern California creates hope, jobs and futures.
