Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: * Introduce a youth emerging from foster care to a career path (job shadowing, workplace tour); * Tell 20 friends about our work through email or social media, or host a presentation in your home, workplace, or professional/civic association; * Organize a drive to collect school supplies or other needed items for our low-income clients; * Beautify our facilities by working in our gardens; * and so much more!

To build strong, safe, and self-sufficient individuals, families, and communities.

Results:

Family & Children Services has supported individuals and families in our community since 1948. Parents learn violence-free ways to relate to their children. Youth preparing to exit foster care learn independent living skills, so they can succeed. Families dealing with loss or seeking to heal find support through therapy. Men and women conquer addiction. This is a snapshot of our daily work, which is made possible through community support.
