Direct beneficiaries per year: 800-1,000 persons
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: 1. help with some secretarial duties;
2. lead a virtual or face-to-face support group for pre-teens, teens, siblings or families affected by epilepsy;
3. organize a party for kids with epilepsy.
Geographic areas served: West Central Florida: Hillsborough, Polk, Hardee, Highlands, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Sumter, Citrus.

Results:
ESF trained 15 mentors who can provide education and support to other parents, families and children affected by epilepsy.
ESFprovided 17 camp scholarships and 5 scholarships for families to attend a family weekend retreat.
ESF provided 4 scholarships for University of South Florida medical students and residents to continue their pursuit of neurology as a medical focus.
ESF provided 2 scholarships for 2 persons with epilepsy to pursue their college degrees.
ESF provided numerous epilepsy education programs to students, teachers and nurses in West Central Florida.

What a wonderful organization! For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of seeing this Foundations volunteer efforts go to work. My family (3 generations) have been involved in the NAIFA Tampa Golf Classic, Hare Racing Experience and the Ribs for Kid's Fundraising events for many years now. ...

Epilepsy services is the best. I have worked with my professional association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for more than 10 years to promote Epilepsy Services. We sponsor a golf tournament to send children with epilepsy to camp. We have raised over $400,000 in our...
