Description: We are building a prototype of an environmentally sustainable clinic for families in need in Nicaragua. Our clinic includes not just exam rooms, but a working organic garden, community room and demonstration kitchen as interactive tools to teach nutrition.
Target demographics: Women and children living in poverty.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 18,000 women and children
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Help us spread the word! Have a Clinica Verde breakfast, raise awareness, encourage future supporters!
