Central Texas Players Golf Association
Mission:
Central Texas Players Golf Association (CTPGA) was organized in Texas on June 22, 2001 as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of providing golfing and other activities, which promotes goodwill in the greater Killeen/Fort Hood Area. The CTPGA will promote "Junior Golf " and provide a scholarship to a deserving college bound student each year. The CTPGA shall also contribute to the advancement and improvement of the quality of life on the community.
On December 22, 2004, the CTPGA entered into an agreement withh the World Golf Foundation, Inc and its division, The Frist Tee. This licensing agreement enables the CTPGA to operate The Frist Tee of Killeen. The purpose of The Frist Tee of Killeen is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
