Mission:

Central New England Equine Rescue was founded in 2003, we grew out of the need to rescue from slaughter and find adoptive homes for the ever-increasing number of abandoned and improperly cared for horses. Our mission at Central New England Equine Rescue,Inc is to rescue and rehabilitate horses, restoring them to their natural health and good spirit. Our volunteers provide a safe environment for healing. We have implemented an educational program on the proper care of horses to aid in the prevention of abuse and cruelty in the Northeast.

I got involved with CNEER about 6 yrs ago when I visited the Warren barn. I was so Impressed with how friendly the volunteers were, how happy the horses were as they interacted with each other and with me. CNEER is an awesome place where the horses are number one. All of the volunteers and members of the board are incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. The impact they have is incredible, on both the equines and people that have their lives touched by CNEER... more »
