Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: walk dogs, socialize dogs and cats, help clean and feed animals, help with administrative work, help with off-site and on-site special events, etc.

Mission:
The Mission of the AAWL is to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in Maricopa County.
Results:
In 2010, we adopted out 3,100 animals. We are currently raising money for our new Adoption Center which will open in early 2012. We have raised $2.5 Million of our $3 Million goal. After the new building is fully operational, we will be able to save twice as many lives as we do today.

We heard about the shelter from a friend. Our dog passed away in October and have been wanting another.
